Introducing the Hip Klip + promotion
March 11, 2010 | Filed Under Purses/Bags | 8 Comments
I only recently discovered the Hip Klip and after using it for a few weeks with the pocket accessory I’m totally sold on it. I am in love with this product and am so happy to be able to include it with my other favorite products in my OpenSky Shop.
The Hip Klip is the modern day stylish version of the fanny pack. It has made my life so much easier by solving a common problem I think many of us have.
This is the design I have but there are many other designs to chose from.
Have you ever had somewhere to go but didn’t want to carry a big purse with you and didn’t have any pocket space for your essentials? That’s how it was for me when I’d go for my daily power walk. None of my work out gear has any pockets and yet I need to bring with me tissues, keys and cell phone in case my kids need to reach me.
Now all I have to do is just clip on my Hip Klip to the waist band of my pants and instant pocket! On one side of the Hip Klip is a zippered pocket and the other side has an open pocket. It’s the perfect size, not to big and not to small. The beauty of this product though is in the actual clip itself. Once it’s on it would be pretty hard for someone to tug it off, it stays firmly in place.
You can also just use the clip part to carry your keys alone if you wanted to.
Check out this video I did about it and ignore the fact that my daughter cuts my head off on occasion. It’s hard to find good help these days LOL. I should also tell you that my cell phone is ancient and bigger than most which is why it looks a little bulkier
I so love a product that solves everyday problems, LOVE it! These would make awesome gifts for your friends and family including teenagers! And moms will definitely appreciate this product as it sure comes in handy when carrying a young child and you need your hands free to look after them.
So many possibilities and so many designs too!
The price is great at $16.89 but today I have a special promotion going on just for my readers that allows you to get 20% off your order. Simply go to this special promotion page, enter your email address and favorite shopkeeper (Org Junkie!), click Give Me My Coupon and it will be provided to you. It’s as easy as that. Offer expires this Sunday, March 14th.
I do hope you like it as much as I do and if you have any questions about it please don’t hesitate to ask me. Enjoy!

Today I’m excited to tell you a little bit more about one of the products I love and have listed in Org Junkie’s Shop.
If you have a young one like I do you know how much they love to ask questions. My son loves to know what’s happening during the day and was constantly asking what are we doing now, what’s coming up next, is it preschool day, is it swimming day and on and on and on. It drove me nuts because I felt like a broken record repeating myself over and over and over again. When I was asked if I’d like to try out a kid’s calendar designed by a Canadian company called, 2 Fish Kids, I jumped at the chance.
My Week Calendar is a magnetic wipe-off calendar for young children that shows little ones how to organize their day and prepares them for what is coming up next. I’m all over teaching organizational skills early!
My son, who is four, absolutely loves his calendar and let me tell you it has been a lifesaver to my day. I promise you I’m not being melodramatic. In fact I love this calendar so much that I just had to sell it in my shop.
The calendar comes complete with 58 colorful activity magnets and a dry erase marker. Each morning my son gets up and, with my help, sets his day up with the planned activities we have scheduled for that day. He can even track the daily weather if he wants. Then throughout the day I see him checking out his calendar after every activity so he can prepare for the next. I love to see how excited he gets about it and I love that it gives him the reassurance that he’s looking for. This is one of those products that I didn’t know how much it would make a difference in my life until I had it. We’ve been using it now for about 4 or 5 months and the novelty has not worn off with him.
The two Canadian moms of 2 Fish Kids that designed this product are happy to offer one of my readers a chance to win one of these calendars. To enter simply leave a comment on this post prior to Friday, February 19, 2010 at 2:00 pm PST.
And if you’re interested in purchasing one, you can find them over here.
Good luck!
