Updated to add: The winner of the Fridgefile goes to #14 Vicki!!
A little while ago I had the opportunity to try out the Fridgefile. The Fridgefile is an awesome inexpensive tool for organizing all those really important papers that you aren’t ready to file yet. It was designed by a busy mom who understands the necessity of organizing important information where it is readily available and convenient for the whole family to access.
This four pocket magnetic organizer makes for an amazing addition to any Command Center because it is so versatile in how it can be used. Sort your papers by child or by category, whatever works for your family. The Fridgefile will hold up to 65-70 pieces of paper and also has a convenient white board on the front.
I love this system as it allows me to find what I need quickly and easily and my family appreciates that convenience as well. My four pockets are labeled events, planning, reference and schedules which addresses all the types of papers that might normally end up on my dining room table.
I even recommended this product for the Daily Grommet which is a great site featuring daily products that are fairly new and unique. They tell the story behind each product through video which really make the product come alive for you. They even offer you the opportunity to purchase these products right on their site for a limited time.
The Fridgefile is such a great price ($11.95) for the amount of organization it provides. And because I’m clearly off my rocker with all this snow we’ve been getting, I’m also including a video clip of me talking about my own Fridgefile. Ack!
Allison, the mom behind Fridgefile, is giving away one Fridgefile today to one lucky reader! Just leave a comment on this post before Monday, March 30th at 9:00 pm PST to be eligible. Thanks!
Spring Clean, Year Round + giveaway!

Updated to add: The winner is #286 Diane!
Welcome to the new home of Org Junkie’s Product Reviews! Big thanks to Shelly from Scadesigns for the updated look!
Today I’m talking about my least favorite thing, cleaning! I hate cleaning and there was a time that I actually assumed everyone hated cleaning but as crazy as it sounds I actually have friends that love it. But of course cleaning is one of those things that must be done whether you like it or not. What I refuse to do is spring cleaning. It’s too much for me. All that cleaning at one time, no thank you. I do it all year round so no one time has to overwhelm me with the enormity of the situation. In other words I like to keep it simple.
I don’t have a list I follow or anything, I just see something that needs to be done and somehow work it into my schedule. But as you can imagine things get put off or I forget an area that should have been done. What would make my life easier? Not a schedule but a guideline to help me stay on track of my year round cleaning. I found a terrific product that will help me do just that.
I’d like to introduce you to the gorgeous Spring Clean, Year Round system.

A lovely lady by the name of Travis makes these beautiful tins and what’s inside will change the way you look at spring cleaning as it takes you on a yearly journey of getting even the most dreaded chores done. No it doesn’t do those chores for you but it will help you remember when to do what when throughout the year rather than all at one time.
Here is what Travis has to say about her system:
“This system includes most common chores necessary to keep your home “spring clean” year round. It is not exhaustive and therefore blank cards are included for your personalization. It does not include the daily grind kind of chores like washing clothes or cleaning up after dinner. The frequency at the top of the card can easily be changed to suit your personal cleaning needs. I am a wife and mom of 3 boys and 1 girl. This is my personalized system and your needs/preferences may be different. It is my hope that this system will give you freedom and peace knowing your house will be clean year-round with minimal daily effort from you.”

There are so many reasons I love this system. Here are just a few of them:
1. Beautiful container means I can leave it out on my counter where I will remember to look inside it each day.
2. Colorful chore cards are included listing various cleaning/organizing tasks and a basic guideline as to the frequency they are to be done (weekly, twice weekly, monthly, twice yearly, yearly, etc)
3. Each chore card includes a task along with helpful hints and shortcuts on how to do it in addition to the ages of children that can help with that particular chore. I am all about getting kids involved because we are not our children’s slaves.
4. Monthly and daily dividers are also included so you can easily organize the chore cards according to the listed guidelines or what works for you. I like this versatility.
5. By following along with the Spring Clean Year Round schedule you will never have to worry about doing all your spring cleaning at once again.

I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of this system and it’s just another great example of a mom that saw a way to make life easier for other moms and used her creativity and skills to do something about it. I love that!

Updated: This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to our winners, Jessica from Life as Mom and Fenella from Owen & Brando!!
Are you feeling overwhelmed with life?
Are you having trouble remembering everything you have to do with so much on the go?
Are you stressed?
Then maybe it’s time for what I affectionately call a brain dump.
Take all that information that you have swirling around in your head to do, to make, to take, to go, to buy, to schedule, to plan and get it all down on paper. Once it’s down on paper you don’t have to exhaust yourself trying to remember it all anymore.
Lists are the ultimate brain dumping tool. Rather than having one great big running list of everything though why not have a variety of lists to help you group and organize the various tasks you have to accomplish.
Yet maybe the thought of creating all those lists seems overwhelming in itself to you.
Not to worry because Jennifer of List Plan It can help you with that.
With a membership to this site you will never want for another list again. My gosh there is a directory of over 300 printable lists and planning pages!! Every list imaginable to help you get organized, now that’s what I call service.
The membership fee for a three month subscription, which allows you access to all these lists, is only $9.95. That’s a great deal. However if you’d rather not commit to a 3 month subscription Jennifer also offers another great option.
Downloadable ePlanners group multiple lists in convenient category packages for you for only $4.95 each. For instance if you’re only interested in lists to do with the organizing and managing of your home you could simply download the Home ePlanner and have access to all the applicable home lists instantly. Easy as that!

Jennifer’s lists are easy to use and concise and I can’t recommend them more highly for managing your house, your family and your life.
I’m happy to announce that TWO lucky readers will each win a 3 month subscription just by commenting on this post by Monday, August 18th at 6:00 pm pst. Good luck!!
THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED.
