Updated:  This giveaway is now closed.  The winner is Lis from A Trucker Wife!!

I’ve got another great giveaway to tell you about today.   As many of you already know I’m a huge fan of Professional Organizer Aby Garvey from Simplify 101.  She runs amazing online workshops all geared towards helping you get organized.   Aby has a new workshop starting next Tuesday, April 21st called Organize Your Paper Clutter that will be run over a period of six weeks.  In addition the workshop will remain open one additional week, for a total of seven weeks of content, instructor and community access.

Here is a bit more information for you:

Paper, paper everywhere! That paper mountain growing on your countertop represents a loss of freedom, a loss of control, and a nagging feeling in your gut that something important isn’t getting attended to. Your paper, and the feelings it creates, makes it hard to relax, focus or even have fun.

Here’s the good news: there is a better way! With the right paper organizing systems in place—those created with you, your paper, and your home in mind—you can free yourself from paper clutter and the stress that comes along with it. In Organize Your Paper Clutter, you’ll learn a step-by-step process on how to decide if you need a piece of paper (and for how long!) and how to organize it so you’ll find it again right when you need it! Your piles (and your stress!) will be replaced by organizing systems you love, and feelings of confidence, relief and peace of mind!

Specifics include:

  • Create an action file and mail handling system.
  • Get strategies for handling school papers and kids artwork.
  • Learn what paper you need to shred, what paper you need to keep, and how long you need to keep it.
  • Set up and use a tickler file.
  • Learn the best ways to organize and store each type of paper in your home, so you can find it again right when you need it.

Aby would love to give away one of those coveted workshop seats to one of you, a prize valued at $65.00! And all you have to do to enter is leave a comment on this post before Monday afternoon (April 20th) at 12:00 pm PST. Although it’s not a requirement, please feel free to tell us which area of paper organization you struggle with the most.

Good luck!

Oh my gosh, I totally need this! As much as I try to organize my paper clutter I just haven’t found the best way to do it! I never know what to keep and for how long, so I end up keeping way too much! I have bills, schoolwork, statements, etc… Help!

      Jen on April 16th, 2009 10:47 pm

I would love to win! It’s so hard to stay on top of paper clutter! (drives my hubby nuts!)

      Kay on April 16th, 2009 10:47 pm

What do you mean which AREA of paper clutter? Are you asking if it’s the pile on the counter, or the living room chair that can no longer be sat on? Or the overflowing file cabinet that hasn’t been opened in THREE years? Or the numerous totes lying around the house? Or… wait. You mean which part of organization I struggle with? All of it. It comes in, my eyes tear up, and I shove it in a pile. Without opening it half the time. Let’s not talk about the arrest warrant I had last month because of a lousy $26 balance on a ticket – all because I never opened the letter reminding me. Or the cell phone being turned off because I didn’t open the bill.
I struggle most with the fact that I have NO system whatsoever. None. I just get overwhelmed and stick my head in the sand (or the stack of papers) and hope it will go away. It never does.

Oh, I so desperately need someone to help me get started on fixing this!!!

      evelyn on April 16th, 2009 11:33 pm

Oh this class would be soo nice for me – my fiance always complains about my paper-piles. He seems to forget that he has a room (A. WHOLE. ROOM.) for himself while my paperwork happens in the dining-area of the apartment. Well, I am trying to keep things tidy but what am I supposed to do with catalogues, free magazines that need to be read, store-flyers, and the other hundred things?
PLEASE, I need this class! :-)

      Joyce on April 17th, 2009 12:00 am

I’m trying to start a household reference binder, but I need to put everything together in one place….

      Reenie on April 17th, 2009 12:17 am

OMG I would love some help. I am what I call myself a organized person that can not get organized!!! I hate the clutter but cannot seem to tackle it. Papers are the worst. I have piles here and piles there oh yes and then yet another pile. I would love a system that I could follow to help me get on top of it. HELP!!!

      Kim on April 17th, 2009 2:06 am

I’m what I like to call an “Office Nerd”. I tend to print things off just cuz I like it. Weird I know. Then I end up with scrap paper to use… blah blah blah… :-)

I have a filing cabinet, but feel lost in the paper trail.

      Terri on April 17th, 2009 3:20 am

I soooo need this! My computer desk is a mess. It seems like I clean it up all the time but it still gets clutterd. Thanks!

      Kimber on April 17th, 2009 4:05 am

I could really use this. Mail, kids’ papers, hubby’s papers, my papers… paper, paper, everywhere!!!

      Julie on April 17th, 2009 4:22 am

That would be a fantastic prize! Like everyone, I have paper everywhere!!

      Deanna on April 17th, 2009 4:30 am

Oh my gosh, this would make my life soooo much simpler. I work in accts. payable and have no problem keeping things organized at work but at home…..lets just say 3 kids 2 adults and papers….. its not pretty.

      daphne on April 17th, 2009 4:55 am

I always have papers piled on my counter!

Jenn @ Beautiful Calling on April 17th, 2009 5:14 am

I’m working on paper clutter. I tend to try and save everything “just in case” and I don’t always deal with mail as it comes in (I know, I know!!)
      Thanks for the opportunity!

      Heather on April 17th, 2009 5:20 am

All of it! Mostly in the kitchen and computer area though. Although I’ve had trouble trying to keep up with paper clutter my whole life! What a great giveaway!

      valerie on April 17th, 2009 5:24 am

I need this workshop in every area of my life. Bill paying, filing, not piling, recipes etc. Thanks for a great give away!

      Emily on April 17th, 2009 5:41 am

What area do I need it the most? All of them? I moved into my house last month that we spent 4 months renovating so I have all kinds of new paperwork associated with that. I also just got married two weekends ago and I’m a school teacher with piles and piles of papers on my desk. ALL of my areas need organizing!

      JanMary, N Ireland on April 17th, 2009 5:51 am

Knowing what to keep and what I can discard is my problem.

      Sounds like a great course.

Erin Walsh on April 17th, 2009 6:08 am

With four kids, three of which are special needs, the paperwork gets to be overwhelming. We need a simple system for keeping IEPs accessible, bills organized and paperwork under control without taking up too much space.

Joy @ Frugal Menu Mamas on April 17th, 2009 6:09 am

I would love a solution to paper clutter! We never seem to get it under control. Thanks!

Betsie Allen on April 17th, 2009 6:10 am

Oh… that would be mail… All mail. Even the junk mail I think I want my husband to look at to see if is something we want to do.

      Audrey on April 17th, 2009 6:11 am

I always have stacks of paper everywhere. I struggle the most with receipts. Some I need to keep, some I need to throw away, and usually when I need one I can’t find it! Ugh!

      Kimberly on April 17th, 2009 6:12 am

Unfortunately, I need help in all paper areas. I have been using your wonderful tips in starting to corral my clutter, but still desperately need better solutions! I have two children that I am trying to instill great organizational skills at a young age and this tool will help. My mother always did everything for me, so even though she is very organized (put food cans in alphabetical order), I did not see the neccessity until my own children, then the clutter was out of control! Thank you for a wonderful website and for all the help you give to us all, especially Mommys that work outside of the home.

Jennifer Bennett on April 17th, 2009 6:17 am

I can’t even tell you how badly I need this! Our biggest problem areas are the kids’ school papers, mail, recipes, receipts, misc. important papers…The list goes on and on! I would be absolutely thrilled to have a seat at this workshop!!!

Gigi Gonzales on April 17th, 2009 6:29 am

I need help in all those areas but I really would like household reference binder. I would like to know where things are when I need them instead of trying to backtrack!

Casie Creech on April 17th, 2009 6:31 am

I would love this! My biggest problem is making time to purge. I file plenty but then it sits for ages before I purge files

      Jena on April 17th, 2009 6:38 am

I want this so bad!! I feel like it is a never ending fight to get my papers organized!!

      Marjorie on April 17th, 2009 6:42 am

Wow do I need this. Managing my paper – mail, school, magazine clippings, etc. Is a huge problem for me. The piles never end!

      Vail on April 17th, 2009 6:44 am

All of it is where I need the most help!!

      Tricia on April 17th, 2009 6:56 am

I find it hard to stay on top of…I can get it organized only to a point as the tidal wave of additional paper comes flooding in – school papers, bills, magazines, catalogs…it all then ends up in one big massive pile that we have to pick through to find what we are looking for. Ack!

      Reneescraps on April 17th, 2009 7:03 am

Hello…I would so love to be able to do this I have been trying my own little ideas but it is so overwhelming.. Thanks for thinking of others… Renee in Kentucky

      allie z on April 17th, 2009 7:12 am

      Count me in!!!

Which area DON’T I need help with? :) It’s tough to stay on top of all of the paperwork that comes in my home. I would LOVE a seat at this table, so to speak.

      Jody H. on April 17th, 2009 7:15 am

What a great class. I would love to take it. I’m sitting at the computer looking at a huge paper pile and dreading having to go through it.

      Thanks for the opportunity!

      Marsha on April 17th, 2009 7:24 am

Oh, I’d love this. I thought I had a better grasp on the piles of paper until Wednesday when I went to file our US Taxes and realized that I couldn’t find the form from our bank telling us how much interest we has earned last year. Yikes! Now we have to file an amended return and pay MORE money.

      Sharyl on April 17th, 2009 7:31 am

Oh I would absolutely love the opportunity to attend this glass. As a mother of 4 this would be wonderful.

      Ashley on April 17th, 2009 7:40 am

I definitely need this. Now that I’m planning a wedding my house as become even more over-run by paper.

      Kindra on April 17th, 2009 7:47 am

Thanks for this wonderful giveaway! You don’t know how much this would help me. I am completely overwhelmed and completely exhausted with paper clutter. It has gotten very out of hand and just don’t know what to do. The workshop would be perfect!

      Melissa on April 17th, 2009 7:49 am

Oh, we need this workshop! Our family of four lives in a very small space, and my husband and I both work from home but during different hours. We share one small desk, which TRIPLES as our bill-pay center and catch-all for personal paperwork as well. The number of sticky notes is almost funny except that we keep losing important ones. We’re overflowing onto the kitchen counter and table too. Despite our best efforts, our paper is out of control!

      thursday on April 17th, 2009 7:51 am

Wow – I need help with *all* aspects of organization, but I have very little of the paper stuff organized. I keep finding unclassifiable paper debris all over the house that I’m not sure where it should go. Bills that are due? They sit out so I don’t forget. What about receipts? How long should I keep them? What sort of filing system will work for me? I find my husband’s “systems” confusing and not useful.

patti hildreth on April 17th, 2009 7:54 am

It just makes you feel like a Queen when everything is in its place! I am always looking for ways to be more organized!
Great giveaway. I think I would love to be on your team!

Abbie Park on April 17th, 2009 7:54 am

I too am a fan of Aby at Simplify 101. I have most trouble staying organized around my kitchen phone station. The space is probably a little too small for all the items I really NEED to store there. I’d love to learn more about the Central Binder. Thanks for hosting this giveaway!

      Patty P on April 17th, 2009 7:54 am

I could definitely use this class. My biggest paper clutter issue is knowing how long to keep papers. So I end up keeping everything and that just doesn’t work! I’d love to take this online workshop.

      Tricia on April 17th, 2009 7:56 am

I struggle with junk mail the most.. I shread it, my husband burns it with the leaves in the spring and fall, we try to get taken off of lists, and mailers and grocery ad’s but nothing works. We end up with so much that by the end of the week there is alway some nasty little sneeky stack of it that I have to figure out what to do with.
Maybe I will start making paper vases :D

Karla Newell on April 17th, 2009 8:00 am

How awesome would it be to win this? I feel like I’m overrun with mail…..I have the junk pile….the to be paid pile….the need to file pile and then there is that questionable pile. They all spill over into each other….I hate looking at it.

      Dawn on April 17th, 2009 8:00 am

I would love this. I’m not sure what my worst paper organizational problem is because I struggle with all of it. It doesn’t matter if it’s financial papers, work papers or school papers. It’s all a mess.

      Dana on April 17th, 2009 8:08 am

I totally need this! I feel like I’m drowning in papers. Junk mail, paid bills, bills that need paid, stuff that needs filed, school papers. You name it, I’ve got it!

      LuAnn on April 17th, 2009 8:21 am

My desk has paper clutter all over it. I could really use help designing a system that would help me keep it under control.

      Gabby on April 17th, 2009 8:21 am

Oh this would be such a help for me! I’m trying to declutter my apartment and everywhere I turn, there are files and piles and drawers full of paper. I have no clue what to keep, what to toss, what to shred. It literally has me in tears to the point that I just feel paralyzed, do nothing, and watch it get worse. :(

Leigh Eagar on April 17th, 2009 8:23 am

I struggle with how long I need to hold on to certain papers.

      Jennifer C on April 17th, 2009 8:28 am

This workshop is just what I need. Piles of paper have become my decorating scheme. I’ve tried a filing system before, but it hasn’t worked for me, so I need some new ideas on how to deal with all this paper!

      Angelle on April 17th, 2009 8:45 am

      I would love this.

Jill Kass on April 17th, 2009 8:50 am

I so need this… Between coupons, recipes, kids, quilting, house stuff and scrapbooking my desk is a mess!

      andi on April 17th, 2009 9:03 am

This would be AWESOME. I struggle with every aspect of paper organization. Please help me.

      Barbie on April 17th, 2009 9:04 am

Please, please, please bring peace to my office. I dreamed of a home office for so long and now that I have one, it’s impossible to work in it. I’m being taken over by paper. Pick me please!

      Dawn on April 17th, 2009 9:27 am

Oh wow! This would be such a Godsend!

I think the place I have the most trouble keeping up with is new paper coming into the house. It seems to get set everywhere and then when it comes time to deal with it, it has to be tracked down.

      Amy on April 17th, 2009 9:39 am

You name an area and I need help! But kid’s school work vs. their important “mom must see” papers is my nemesis.

      Jenn W. on April 17th, 2009 9:50 am

This would be an excellent class for our household. We struggle with the paper monster on a daily basis.

Katie in Texas on April 17th, 2009 10:17 am

My area of greatest concern is my several boxes/bins/cabinets of photos and kids school work. With 5 kids, it has become overwhelming. I have just recently begun scrapbooking but it will take years to get it all in books. I need a plan!

      Felicia on April 17th, 2009 10:17 am

Wait.. you mean there is away that I could use my computer without having to move the mound of paper that is on my desk!! I am all for that!!!

It is time to make some life changes. =)

      Ronica on April 17th, 2009 10:18 am

Holy Cow!!! I think that sometimes you read my mind. Most recently, I have been trying to reorganize my paper mountains, but I just seem to be shuffling them around the office. My biggest issue is probably bills and receipts. I keep everything. My husband think I should not.

      Kim on April 17th, 2009 10:25 am

I would love this and NEED this! My office space is very small and we farm so there are tons of paper invoices/receipts etc that need to be kept.

      Kelly on April 17th, 2009 10:43 am

Wow! Count me in…definitely. This bear of very little brain needs all the help she can get.

      Tricia on April 17th, 2009 10:43 am

      I need this workshop!
I keep my unfiled/unsorted paper in reusable shopping bags so I can hide it – out of site out of mind – but take it out when I need to find something. And boy is that a pain. I just went on a Spring Break trip with just my kids and took my 2 bags with me because I was so embarressed that my husband would find it. I am a stay at home mom with a full time volunteer position, but my paper chaos leads me to be totally disoraganized at home. The paper that is filed and I need to keep is then just put into a plastic box. CHAOS!!

ChefBliss (Tiersa) on April 17th, 2009 10:45 am

I would LOVE this and of course NEED this! I don’t have just ONE area, I am challenged in all areas of paperwork. I am good at occasional organization, but I need a good system. Right now I am looking at piles, boxes and baskets of “i’ll get to it eventually” papers!!

      aloha on April 17th, 2009 10:49 am

Please please please pick me :)
I’m going to make a good use of it..

With 3 school aged kids in the house and running a business, I cant think of anything I need more right now than this. We struggle with keeping our nice clean countertop nice and clean. I would LOVE this workshop!!

      Tricia on April 17th, 2009 11:20 am

I really need ot learn how to deal with paper clutter. My current “pile it” system isn’t working.

Amy Myers on April 17th, 2009 11:44 am

I wouldn’t even know how to start explaining my lack of organzation when it comes to the paper in my life. I basically pile it up until it is three or four feet high and then shove it into a box or a closet. it is simply horrible – no I am not kidding.

I would LOVE to know how to tale it, whatyou need to keep, and what is just trash!

      Sandie on April 17th, 2009 12:14 pm

At least one pile per room. I hate it! I need help! See http://julieandjohnstafford.blogspot.com/2009/04/help.html and you will understand. Thanks for the giveaway!!

      Annemarie on April 17th, 2009 5:07 pm

I am getting a handle on our business records, I think (maybe not but at least that pile is smaller), but everything else is just in stacks all over the place. Help!

      Marlo on April 17th, 2009 5:22 pm

Oh my gosh, I definitely need this. I was just looking at my pile of paper in disgust as I left the house this morning. My biggest problem is mail.
I have no problem throwing away the junk mail, it’s the stuff I have/need/want to keep that I can’t control. I swear, I think the mail pile multiplies when I’m not home!
When people come over, I usually stuff all the mail in a bag or box and dump it in the closet – which of course usually never makes it to the filing cabinet.

      Suzie on April 17th, 2009 5:25 pm

Oh, I would love this. No matter how much I try to get through the clutter, there always seems to be more! Thanks!

I would love this! Now that I am a homeowner and consultant for several orgs, I am overwhelmed with receipts for itemizing deductions, warranties, bills, notes, etc.

      Christina on April 17th, 2009 6:34 pm

I just finished getting my kitchen organized (yeah, finally!) The only thing that is still paralyzing me is the stack/pile/mountain of papers on and around my microwave. I need help!

Oh, I totally need this! My office is a MESS!

      Rosalyn on April 17th, 2009 7:06 pm

I would definitely love to win this!! I have more than one system I’m trying and unfortunately none are working. With a family of 7, everything is out of control here.

      Kathy on April 17th, 2009 7:08 pm

a tickler file – I could use that for sure!

      hayley on April 17th, 2009 7:09 pm

i just have piles of mail. i know i should just take care of it when it comes through the door, but i don’t! ugh! i also have a hard time throwing things out.

      Alli on April 17th, 2009 7:18 pm

This would be such a lifesaver for me – we have such a “paper problem” – three children at three different schools, multiple volunteer responsibilities, complicated finances we handle for our extended family as well as a family business, and it feels like we’re swimming in a sea of paper!

      Jacquie on April 17th, 2009 7:59 pm

I too have stacks of paper in each room. Why is this so hard to organize and keep organized? I would love help in this area. I wish to be clutter-free! As hard as I try, it never seems to end. Thank you for this opportunity!

      Kayren on April 17th, 2009 8:00 pm

I think it’s the oldest paper that gives me the most problem. I am pretty organized and things are filed away, but I do have trouble getting rid of some things (I’m not talking recurrent bills here).

Come to think of it there is one other area…my husband’s papers. I give him files and he doesn’t use them, or he does but they don’t get labeled correctly or things don’t get put in them, then he wants me to tell him why he can’t find them. And I’ve never even seen them, because I tell him I’d be happy to file them if he’d just give them to me. It’s kinda crazy, not bad, but just a little irritating occasionally.

      Laura on April 17th, 2009 8:18 pm

Wow – this sounds like fun and what a great idea. i guess i struggle most with going thru the piles in a timely manner. the island in my kitchen is covered in various piles. i can’t stand it. :(

      Molly L on April 17th, 2009 9:50 pm

Here of lately (ok, the last 2 years at least), it has been medical receipts and bills. I’ve had 4 miscarriages and an asthma diaganosis and have had nothing but doctor, hospital and Rx receipts; EOB’s from insurance, and lab bills. I have even gotten threats from collection agencies JUST because I couldn’t get myself together (miscarriages are nothing BUT emotional) and decide which bill to start paying first. I would greatly appreciate some help!

      Beth on April 17th, 2009 10:13 pm

I have trouble keeping up with bill paying and my children’s records. I have tried different systems but I can’t seem to stick to one. I need help!!!

Incoming mail is probably the worst aspect, then “memory” stuff. :)

      Bonnie on April 18th, 2009 4:45 am

This is an area that I need help with more than other aspects of organizing. I tend to move the paper pile from the kitchen counter to the “office”. The office doesn’t get paid attention to until you can’t see the desk, chair or floor. Then it takes HOURS to clean up!

      ~ alli ~ on April 18th, 2009 6:34 am

What a great giveaway! Organizing mail is the first thing that comes to mind because it’s always staring me in the face – on the kitchen counter, on the desk by the computer, everywhere!

      Barbara on April 18th, 2009 6:44 am

My piles become so large that they eventually end up in a box in the basement. I can’t say I have ever had to go back and dig out anything important…

      Vicki on April 18th, 2009 6:50 am

Well it starts all over the house. With papers in the living room, on the counter on the kitchen table, etc…BUT it all seems that once they make their way to the office the sit where they’ve been put from day one for quite a long time. HELP to reorganize my office and leave it that way!!!!!

      Hope I win!!

      Laurie on April 18th, 2009 8:14 am

This would be great! My biggest problem is the non-essential info. The bills are paid and put in their own pile but I have this other pile of stuff to look at later. Keep it, toss it? I’d love to learn a central organizing system!

Sandy Watts on April 18th, 2009 8:23 am

Wow!! Do I need this! I’m retired!! Should have plenty of time, right! WRONG! Also always been a VERY ORGANIZED person!! Worked in accounting, public health, record keeping, etc! I really want this – I am overrun with paper clutter!!!! its everywhere in piles in the kitchen and office

      Kris on April 18th, 2009 6:52 pm

I need this more than you can imagine!! I’ve done good at kids artwork. My downfall? There are several. How long to keep stuff? How most efficiently file bills. Do I need to keep this? Seriously–do I need every mortgage statement? Should I know what my electric bill in October of 2007 was or can I trust Middle Tennessee Electric to keep up with that? In short–HOW CAN I BEST KEEP THE RIGHT PAPERS AND ORGANIZE THEM IN A WAY I CAN GET TO THEM IF I NEED THEM!

Christina Ellzey on April 18th, 2009 8:14 pm

ONE area that needs work?! HA! I have boxes of papers that have been shuffled around so many times I just gave up. If it is a flat surface, it has papers. My car? Why, important directions and things that need to be dropped off. Paper is my greatest nemisis. Ever.

      Susie on April 18th, 2009 8:17 pm

So I am totally disorganised, especially with the paperwork.I start a file usually a ring binder and it seems to work ok for a while then I start another one, but it somehow is not in any order and is not connected to the old one! Dana on April 18th, 2009 8:25 pm

oh yeah…still have not done my taxes yet…becuase it’s too overwhelming! My husband is in Iraq so we get an extention, but that might turn out to be a bad thing…I can’t imagine how crazy it will be to find stuff a year from now….

I found a tupperware container on my kitchen counter with a week old muffin in it – because it had been covered with random papers all week. Mail, school papers, coloring book pages, coupons, recipes, weekly flyers, notes to myself – you name it, it’s strewn somewhere in my house. It’s out of control here!

I struggle with the kitchen desk area. All the “mail” that comes in the door that truly does need to be saved. I have gotten better about sorting through the trash and junk right as it comes in. I just need a quick answer for what I need to keep.

      NerdMom on April 19th, 2009 7:58 pm

I think I would love this. I struggle with actually setting up the systems. If I can’t get it all done at once it is very hard for me to start attacking the copious amount of paper we have.

      Jennie on April 19th, 2009 8:05 pm

Oh, please please pick me! Ha. I really need help with paper clutter. If it wouldn’t be so embarrassing I’d take a picture and show you why. I have a few issues that make it difficult for me to sort and file things, including a few tendencies towards hoarding. I keep trying to follow the basic ideas I find online but a course would be so much more helpful, I think. Especially for bills and IMPORTANT paperwork so that come tax time I don’t have to spend 3 weeks trying to hunt down papers. Oops.

      Maggie on April 19th, 2009 8:19 pm

I would love to take this workshop. I struggle with all of the mail and also knowing which receipts to keep. Oh and recipes too!

      Heather P on April 19th, 2009 8:58 pm

I struggle with it all. And finally, *I* am sick of the clutter. I have started to attack it and reclaim my spaces since visiting your site a month or so ago. I have a long way to go, but learning how to tame the paper clutter would be a huge start in the right direction – esp since I have two and almost three school-aged kids, I know it is only going to get worse from here, so I want to get on top of it, while I can still see out.

      Wendy on April 19th, 2009 9:18 pm

I have struggled with trying to contain my paper for over two decades. Homeschooling and running a business as well as the usual houshold paper creates mountains which I store on the edge of the counter until company is due, then stick in the bottom drawer of my file cabinet in a big pile! Income tax time is a nightmare as I look through each “file” I have tried to set up for reciepts. I have been known to misplace bills and also to pay bills twice. I am ashamed to say how many hours a month a spend looking for misplaced paper. This online paper clutter managing workshop sounds like it would be a real blessing to family and myself. Thanks for considering me, Wendy

      Krisi on April 20th, 2009 1:42 am

I could so use this as I can never find what I am looking for! My biggest problem is … all of it – I just want the paper gone!

      Annette on April 20th, 2009 4:02 am

My problem with paper clutter is that I go to too many coupon sites and print coupons while at the same time working on other computer projects. I’ll print the coupons, lay them on my desk and then a pile of other paper gets put on top and then I forget about the coupons and most expire before I remember that I printed them…So, I wasted Printer Ink, and Paper and made my desk is even more “CLUTTERY” HELP!

Jessica White on April 20th, 2009 4:15 am

I NEED this workshop. I have mounds of papers everywhere!! I just make a stack for each category and I can’t find ANYTHING!! HELP!!! I lose important papers, bills, etc. ALL THE TIME!!

      Tina on April 20th, 2009 5:18 am

I do an ok job of keeping my living room and kitchen clean. However, it looks like the paper fairy threw up in my bedroom. I even have 2 bookshelves and 3 totes and there is still clutter everywhere and 90 % of it is paper. I try to organize it by putting it in “piles” but the piles get piles on top of piles. My husband then threatens to throw everything away… It’s just not a good situation…

      Kristine M on April 20th, 2009 5:41 am

Wow – what a great opportunity – thanks for the chance!

The area I struggle with the most is personal pappers. It seems like they should be the easiest to deal with, but for me, it is not!

I would be delighted to have the opportunity to once and for all, get the paper clutter organized. I continually feel like I am drowning in it despite my best attempts to manage it. I am currently preparing to downsize from my large home now that my nine children have grown and left home. Many thanks for this kind opportunity!

Patricia Sanders on April 20th, 2009 12:35 pm

I need this, I am a grandmother, work, volunteer and I belong to many organizations, but cannot keep the paperwork clutter down. Paper is everywhere and the time needed to clean it up is not here. I guess it depends on priorities. I need motivation to work on it and a system now. I shove the paper into boxes, thinking I will go over it later, then paper comes in and I print more from my computer. I have rooms full of boxes with no room to walk any more. I really need this course and I thank you for this opportunity to participate in the contest.

      Shannon on June 17th, 2009 4:10 pm

Paper clutter overwhelms me every day. My house is pretty small, and the PC gets so out of control that it keeps me from doing other organizational/cleaning tasks because to complete most of them, you have to address all the PAPER first! Ack! I just don’t know where to start, what products to use to organize and contain, or what methods of sorting and purging to use. I am in desperate need of paper clutter rehabilitation- inside me is an organizing goddess just waiting to be unleashed- PLEASE pick me!!!!

      Pretty please?

      Shannon on June 17th, 2009 4:12 pm

Uh…okay? AFter I posted my comment I noticed that the contest is closed. Could’ve sworn I saw that the deadline was the 20th. I must be nuts.
