I received the Internet Password Organizer in the mail some time ago and I must be honest and say that I was a little skeptical about it at first. You see I already had a little notebook that I kept beside my laptop with all my passwords written in. I thought I was on top of it yet as I added more and more passwords to my notebook I was increasingly getting more and more frustrated trying to find the passwords that I needed. I do try to often use the same password but in many instances it just isn’t possible. I also keep my business and personal emails and passwords completely separate which often creates many more username/password combinations than I have the brain capacity to remember.

However I really didn’t know how time consuming all that page flipping in my little red notebook was until I started to use the Internet Password Organizer. You see what make the Internet Password Organizer so special is that it is alphabetized and that my friends makes me very, very happy! I am saving all sorts of time and hair pulling craziness now.

The organizer has a spiral binding that allows the book to open flat and also includes reinforced A-Z tabbed dividers with two letters per tab. Each space has room to record the webpage, username, password and notes. Normally the organizer sells for $19.99 but right now they have a 20% off Father’s Day promotion going on when you use the coupon code “Dad”.

This week I am also giving away a copy for one lucky reader! All you have to do is leave a comment on this post before Friday, May 23rd 11:59 pm pst to be entered. If you don’t have a blog please remember to include your email address.

Good luck!

Woo hoo! I wanna win! There are some websites where I have to change my password every time I go there because I do not have them written down. This would make life so much easier!

Oh my husband would love me if I had one of those. He is always asking me what the password for this and that is and when I try to look it up in my little notebook I either can’t find it or I changed it and forgot to change it on my notebook. Yikes!
Would LOVE LOVE to win this!

This sounds like it would work great!! We used to just use one central password, but now all the sites have different requirements, so we have several.

I SO need this! I hate using the same password for everything but hate to use anything else for fear I’d forget it. I’ve not been organized enough to actually use a notebook to keep track of passwords.

I need this too. I have a small notebook as well that I write my passwords in but they are no particular order and I have to search through all the pages to find the one!

How unbelievably brilliant! Why didn’t I think of it? I need it! I have absolutely NO organization in this department. I find myself continually needing to hit the “remind me” or “hint” buttons on my websites…terrible thing to admit.

Of course, I’m not entering since I have one but isn’t it amazing! I keep separate passwords for business and personal and some have to big 6 characters or 8 characters long or have numbers and letters, blah, blah.
But now it is so easy to keep track.
I’m glad you got a chance to try it out.

      Gabriela on May 21st, 2008 10:24 pm

I started writing passwords down in my spiral bound notebook many years ago. Even my kids know what I mean when I need my “yellow” notebook. This would be a wonderful solution to being able to add more entries to my notebook. A tip for when you have to change passwords: use a pencil when you write them down. It is neater to erase and re-write than to have to cross out or white out and try to figure out how to write over in pen.

It’d be great to win the giveaway. Thanks!
